The heart behind the foundation
Adeola Osineye was the person who remembered your birthday, who stayed on the phone until you stopped crying, who turned a small kitchen into a place the whole neighbourhood wanted to be. Born in 1983, she built a life around the simple belief that no one should feel alone.
In 2023 she was diagnosed with cancer. She faced two years of treatment with the same generosity she gave everyone, organising meals for other patients, learning their families' names, and refusing to let the disease take her sense of humour.

Adeola passed away in 2025. This foundation is the promise she made, kept by the people who loved her.
A promise, kept
In the months after losing Adeola, her family and friends kept returning to the same conversation she had started from her hospital bed: cancer is under-funded, and too often diagnosed late. Families are left to navigate treatment, travel and cost with little support.
So in her memory we built something to change that: a foundation that funds the research the field needs, stands beside the families who are living it, and keeps telling the stories that make people pay attention. Everything we do is measured against one question: would this have helped Adeola, and the families like ours?
